First off, three things:
1: To any german speaking friends, relatives, etc.: If you don't understand anything, please tell me.
(An alle deutsch sprechenden Freunde, Familie, etc.: Falls du irgendwas nicht verstehst, bitte meld dich einfach bei mir!)
2: To my "Designer"-Friends:
If you don't like the Design, shut up. This is not about the Design. Thanks, love you.
and 3: Please ignore all the posts with the label "Journal". They are just for my Web Design Class. I mean, if you're interested in what I do in my Web Design Class, go ahead, but yeah... I don't think they're too interesting...

Nicknames

What's up with the nicknames?

Well first, nobody really calls me that, so don't start it, but here's the thing:
When I first found out, that I was going to Kansas, my israeli friend Darel was one of the first people to know. And she started calling me Dorothy, and one of the last things she told me before I left was, go have fun Dorothy.

And the reverse Columbus was because of my first Hostfamily, which was indiar. My Father (my natural one, from Austria) one day said it, when we were skyping.
Out of the blue he goes "you kind of are like a reverse Colombus you know. Thinking you were going to the US but instead wound up in India."
Isn't he hilarious? (He is.)
